Google Earth Biographies: Hank Williams, Bob Marley, AC Gilbert
The Google Earth Community (GEC) is a forum allowing people to share Google Earth content or comment on things they see in Google Earth. It is organized by topics and there is an almost overwhelming about of information added each day. In fact, there are currently over 600,000 registered members and at any given time there are usually 15-20 times as many unregistered readers as there are registered. So, the amount of posts in the forum is huge. Google Earth Blog tries to help you find some of the best things to be found at the GEC, but there are many gems there yet to be discovered.
One GEC member has put together a number of excellent geo-referenced biographies in the form of GE files. His pseudonym is 'Dorseyland' and his posts are something to watch for. Here are just a few of his biography posts (and the corresponding GE File):

- AC Gilbert - Inventor of Erector Set - GE Bio
'Dorseyland' also has a blog for his Google Earth content which is excellent reading. Thanks to 'Hill" at the GEC for bringing these collections to my attention.
